And yeah, least you were there for them when they wanted you to be! You’ll never guarantee the outcome of someone else’s relationship but you can at least be happy they felt confident enough to celebrate it at one point. Relationships are hard fucking work and even people that really did love each other don’t make it. Doesn’t mean everyone should give up on it prematurely?
