>>55018078>you don't even need a hype year. The cards have been steadily increasing for ages. almost all my cards (most bought between 2016-2018) are up like 3-6x, even with the massive pandemic hype retrace.>the only people who lost their shirts are the invooooosters who bought all their shit at the height of the pandemic bubbleI noticed that new PokeTubers started to appear.
Their channels are small - they talk about newest sets and 151 and being popular.
Also they are not get-rich-quick-crypto-boomers (despite being at the millennial age) because those left the hobby at the end of Sword and Shield era. They are just chilling and slowly gathering a small circle of fans.
Pokemon collecting is a very healthy hobby right now - I love it!
It's so much less stressful now for sure.
I remember when Lost Origin came out and I thought that I will have to buy a Giratina V for $600 eventually because it was around $400 Raw and everything was like "let's gooo i'm sure it will reach 500-600 at the end of 2023! LFG!!! :O"
and i was like "y-yeah...let's...g-go...b-bros...i'm sure i would love to pay that price".
Managed to get a slab for $300 hehe.
