Yep yep, dealing with writers block (or rather, I just fucking hate this side-arc I'm in the middle of). Luckily, not too many followers mind the time between updates- ~10k word chapters tend to keep them happy.
Still... I'm getting the sense my readership is low because I've focused on the gym leaders (pic related, is my protag), and that I could've done better by focussing on Ash or N or the ilk. But, I like side-characters. I think they're more interesting to write about.
It makes it tough to keep motivated.
