HAHA SHINIES- Holy fucking shit, heaven forbid you get any desync. The HP and charge bars bounce around like yo-yos on crack until the server decides you totally beat the Pokemon. Same goes for attempts at SWITCHING (not dodge fail). I would switch, start mashing, and then game would switch to the first Pokemon, then switch back and I lose the charge bar. So fucking infuriating.
- Daily limit on coin income is reported to be 100 coins. That's 100 hours or a little over 4 days. This means that what you can do to farm +100 coins every day is by holding at least 5 gyms for 100 hours continuously each. Every day, you collect on a Pokemon for 100 coins, and put it back into a gym until 5 days pass, where you collect it and get another 100 coins. This seems like the most minimum effort scheme if you can visit every 3-4 hours to feed it berries and nobody attacks it. This update is basically a botter's wet dream. If you somehow live on top of a Pokestop and can keep your mons in it 24/7 you can probably maintain the 100 hour requirement easily if you are willing to wake up in the night for 1-2 feedings. Like I said in the previous post, defending is much easier so farming coins will be much easier for cheaters and autists in the long run. Pure walkers like me are kind of fucked because I relied on the "collect 100 coins when I'm done and come back tomorrow" scheme because I don't have time to maintain a gym presence 24/7, let alone 5. But this does mean you need less gyms to max out your daily income if you play efficiently. It's a trade-off whose long-term effects won't be obvious for a while.
Alternatively, you can hold 5+ gyms and cash out all of them at once every 21(24?) hours. More gyms to recycle but you have to visit them regularly in either scenario anyway.
