Storyfags will ignore or even outright defend the games being turned into a collection of hallways just so they can get their fix of cutscenes easily. They don't care about having good gameplay and will handwave any criticism about the plot, characters, or their execution as you being ADHD riddled or not understanding JRPGs, as if Pokemon is in any way a good representation of them whatsoever.
Gameplaybros enjoy good regions with proper level design, a sizeable amount of content and exploration value along with not having absolute braindead difficulty with excessive railroading; they want the games to be... actually good games, which is respectable.
Nostalgiafags are whatever, at least they usually acknowledge what they are, and I'd rather talk with them than interact with any storyfag on this board.
