>>36566636>>36566671From the top of my head.
Remember than in the second route you'll find Venipede and Sewaddle, the first early bugs that don't fall behind midgame but are actually pretty viable.
And if you're looking for an electric type, you'll have 2 early options in the ranch (Mareep) and in the industrial complex (Magnemite), which you're about to reach.
And you can evolve to Magnezone relatively early (Chargestone), or in case you're one of those who like Magneton better, you do have eviolite in these games.
Castelia City has encounters this time. There's a zone with a pair of good old poisons that is part of an obligatory quest, and a "secret" park that you can miss. If you find said park, since you're running Black2 you can catch Cottonee to train or change for a Petilil. These 2 grass types are actually pretty strong, but if you go for Whimsicott try to catch a Prankster one and do not evolve until it learns Cotton Guard.
You can also get Eevee in this park among other normal types.
Sandile and Sigilyph are great desert mons with great abilities, worth to consider for a team.
I'd tell you to try a Lampent/Chandelure, since it seems you haven't yet and is a fantastic ingame mon (plus a very popular object-mon design-wise, but maybe you don't like it).
Also, when you reach Driftveil for the first time, please, do explore the fucking cave at the PWT, as the reward you get for this is about the only instance so far in the series you'll have to use a certain mon ingame.
Pic related.
