The whole AR experience hinges on grinding because it was designed to incentivize people to walk more and interact with locals in their area. Anything that reduces the need to walk is antithetical to the concept of the game (I'm frankly not above getting around some of those hurdles, though I'm not gonna setup spoofing software just to negate all of it). Why do you think they originally added a walking requirement for GBL? Why do you think buddy candy is the only way to consistently get more candy/candy XL regardless of spawns, raids, etc.? Why do you think Niantic was so against adding remote raid passes to the game and was so adamant about restricting them years later? Why do you think the game even has a GPS-based map?
