Showcases can't give good rewards because otherwise the people who teleport to max size XXLs can farm premium items constantly
Eggs can't ever give anything half-usable at anything above a 1/200 rate otherwise people who hatch eggs while doing something else entirely get everything they'd need while not giving Niantic any of that location data which they absolutely do not sell
Niantic will never find a way out of this cycle now and it's what they get for having such flawed systems in the first place
