It was an AR that let you pretend that you were exploring a zombie apocalypse world where you could loot places like churches, restaurants and hospitals for appropriate resources. Fighting zombies wasn’t all that complex, but it gave an incentive to level up since weapons were level locked. I remember I was one of the top players in that game before they just down; I had a katana, sawed-off shotgun and gun with silencer, all at the “rare” rarity. I also had various bases, including one in Florida back when my family could afford to go on vacation. It’s too bad they had to shut the servers down around 2015 since Google jacked up their mapping prices, presumably to prioritize companies like Niantic.
Man, now that I think about it, that was actually a big part of my early teen years.
