Scorpion:
the tail only has three segments excluding the stinger so it would have awful articulation unless the segments themselves were flexible unlike an actual scorpion. the entire thing is just too short, the legs are just spikes and how does the face work? Its eyes are hidden inside the armor but where? It has one tiny segment for a body and the rest is tail. Is there just a giant cavity in the body causing its face to be hidden? Also it looks like a horse shoe crab lol.

Its could could probably fit with the sugimori style but the fact that you gave it a personality gimmick fucks that up. You have a mon that gives off early gen vibes but instead of making it feel like an animal, a species, you make it more of a character.
