i like to imagine a... not really post-apocalyptic but something happened, pokemon are quite rare now and human society is also kind of on its last legs. wild pokemon are generally hostile, or at least protective of their territory, rather than running up to humans to be friends n shit, so not everyone is a trainer and the ones that exist don't really battle for sport anymore
usually im some sort of detective/bounty hunter/odd jobs person, actual job isn't important its mostly justification for having random adventures. and i come up with little short stories in this sort of setting sometimes im in the story sometimes i try to think of what different types of people's daily lives would be like. i wish i could draw, it would be fun to make a webcomic or something
