Finally beat XY, 90% of the hardcore nuzlocke was done blind, with the exception of looking up level caps and 2/4 E4 and the Champion battles, mostly because I got scared of wiping after the water leader killed two of my pokemon with his gyarados.
The team:
>Mantine
Caught in Azure Bay. Not really that useful, had a solid typing and a decent movepool but its lack of water absorb ended up being its doom.
>Hippowdon
Really solid pokemon, ended up being my main physical wall and electric checks. One of two survivors, was used for most of the run.
>Gogoat
Surprisingly bulky and reliable, it was my best grass type and the earliest caught pokemon that ended up in the HoF. Would have ended up living too if it weren't for a Blizzard crit
>Hydreigon
Was caught in the Victory Road so it only got used in the E4, but it did a good job in taking half of Dianthe's team and also the Dragon leader's mons. First time I'm using one in a Nuzlocke
>Snorlax
MVP of the run, most reliable pokemon by far due to its bulk, great IVs, early location and moveset. Too bad it died because of the water leader's Gyarados
>Magnezone
Not used that much but it did great during the E4, single handedly checked 3/6 of the champ's pokemon that if it didn't I'd have otherwise wiped
