I always buy both pokemon games, I might not buy them both on release day but i do like having access to playing both. I don't do it to trade with myself, I just like having the ability to place through both and see the differences and play the other protagonist as well. It's not the wisest way to spend your money but if you're enjoying yourself then why shouldn't you?
