morning anons! nice work with the dex stuff, how many early route mons are left now? gnomercy is classy and i've definitely come around to giant gnome underneath the tower.
proposed solution for the complexity of switching out unowns/changing all their plot and location relevant stuff, and for our difficulty deciding which of several very different all excellent cave painting mons to go for:
what if our 'unowns' were the result of a pictoral/ heiroglyphic sort of ancient culture instead of an alphabetic one? what if we had 26 different cave paintings, all representing symbolic versions of different things, animals, hunters, priests, fire, the sun, etc, and based off real cave art if you like? if you guys are down for it the invitation is open for you to help fill out the mini unown dex with designs, as long as they all look fairly stylisically similar/fitting for an unown replacement (all black, minimal patterns and faces if any, points of highlight only), each depict something unique (eg no two that both depict horses), and are drawn with the little guidelines in this pic so i can turn them into sprites easy. random ancient astronaut cave painting as a rough example, not necessarily gonna be part of the final 26. what do you guys think, should we go with this or leave unowns in?
