It's a regular gym by comparison- the bright colors, the gimmick, the trainers, the upbeat music It's all there. Any impact the original had is completely lost.

You deal with Blaine's the same way you deal with every other gym, -- by beating trainers, dealing with the gimmick -- and that's the difference. It's the same thing with a minor different coat of paint that the trainers spell out for you, while in G/S/C the impact is IMMEDIATELY apparent.
