Gen 4 introduced a bunch of evolutions, and they weren't some bullshit Sinnohan Forms, they were proper additions.
Regional forms Only work if there existed a version of it before hand, having a NEW Pokemon be regional is stupid. Why can't Gamefreak man the fuck up and make actual evolutions instead of these shitty regionals that only exist to sell these low budget games? And no, Zig's evolution doesn't count because you will never be able to evolve it to Obstagoon unless you did so in this game or pray to god Galarian Pokemons are in future installments.
