Pic related outside of Gen 5. I tried to do a mystery egg run in Gen 6 and hatched a Pawniard. He was dead weight around midgame. Eventually I just started switch-training him until he evolved.

Hasn't been bad. I hung out with friends on the Eve of the Eve, I hung out with family on the Eve, and I'll be visiting my estranged relatives tonight. I only got some money and clothes. I've been buying my own Christmas gifts since grade school anyway.
I found a translation patch of Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3, and I've been playing that to tide me over until the next Pokemon game comes out, whenever that'll be.
