The average and intended consumer of Pokemon is the children of parents that are your age right now

99% of people buying BDSP aren't sitting there analyzing every frame of data or string of code to have a mental breakdown about some obscurity that was or wasn't included, they're tired parents getting a gift for their kids who can barely read who will be happy with literally anything and have it be the foundation of their nostalgia for the future
