If your fps is shit when you force 2x resolution, you can try forcing FXAA on Nvidia's control panel, it looks pretty good on this game. Also set energy mode to max performance, it'll get rid of some stuttering.
Btw, OpenGL seems to perform better on Nvidia (at least on this game), did a bunch of tests and it was always 2 to 3 frames ahead of Vulkan.
Oh, and get shaders with Ryusak so you don't experience a ton of shader compilation stutters.
