I'm working on a cassowary fakemon too, but in a dodo -> cassowary evolution line reminiscent of Magikarp -> Gyarados in that the dodo would be really weak, but then get super powerful once it evolves. I'm having trouble with figuring out a design that isn't just a cassowary turned pokemon. I'm trying to maybe do something with a gladiator helmet-like design, but I haven't found anything I like yet. Yours are pretty well done in this regard, I especially like the basic's blunt head. What type are they?
