Suddenly kids are fucking stupid and need to read a map 24/7 to navigate a straight line and can't handle 5 minutes without a 10 minute cutscene. Apparently training is impossible without dividing experience like socialism took over. Gamefreak must think kids are fucking retarded so they give them less and less, pretty it up with "new and improved, wow 3D" graphics, and take their parent's money. And then people actually go out of their way to ignore this massive drop in overall quality. "It was great, you guys love to complain." Fuck you sheep. Yes I'm mad about children's video games.
