Hear me out here.
They seem to want to keep trying new ideas, and they've been pretty obvious about the passage of time and some other things this game around. What if we go to Kanto but its like, a "new" Kanto years later. And it had stuff like Sevii islands or visiting Johto (a complete reversal play on Gold/Silver's pattern).
What would you think if they did that?
