>>33187873Back when i was in high school I thought I suffered from severe social anexity (literally had no friends) until I decided to come to a "Pokemon Day" themed party that was being organised in my area (they were giving out Darkrai and Celebi IIRC). After some initial shyness, I opened up like a little kid. I suddenly had no problems approaching people just like that and talking about Pokemon, vidya, and even simple life problems (in that order). I stayed well until midnight and felt completely refreshed after I went home, like all those years I lost not socialising with people suddenly disappeared overnight. Made lots of new friendships as well, some of which I still mantain to this day.
That was the day I realised it's not me who was being socially anxious all this time, it's normalfags who are boring as fuck to interact with. If you have problems making friendships and generally talking to people (and lets be honest, people you meet every day are 99% normies) I strongly recommend you find a Nintendo/Pokemon meeting group in your area (or really anything else you're interested in and is inherently autistic in nature) on sites like facebook and see how you do. It did wonders to my self esteem, so did the OP apperentely.
