>>56696914There is actually a pretty huge reason to use Gardevoir over Alakazam. Trace. It's situational, but it makes certain matchups absolutely laughable. For example, you get a free switch in on Drake's Flygon due to copying Levitate, or you can outspeed and kill Juan's Kingdra in the Rain since you copy Swift Swim from Luvdisc (or Kingdra itself).
Gardevoir is also significantly tankier both physically and specially than Alakazam. Frail, yes, but not made out of wet tissue paper.
