Not only did BW factually sell worse than every other first games in the entire series, the gen as a whole factually sold less than every other gen period.
Gen 6 sold over 30 million (ORAS isn't included in pic related, which is gen 6).
Gen 7 will sell more too once USUM has been out for a bit.
