Between the stubs for Zygarde's forms in XY, Eternal Floette, and other various teasing like that of AZOTH and Magearna, Gen 6 is the very definition of "incomplete"
Meanwhile Gen 7 could have easily wrapped everything up in a nice little bow but went the opposite direction of shoving Zygarde's forms and Magearna in, removing significant amounts of features and QOL that was in the previous game on the same hardware, and overall just being lackluster games in the same vein that XY were but further compounded by those issues. SWSH is just that but with SM's issues tenfold. All of this is justly brought back to XY as the beginning of the unrest. I know the Discord isn't happy at people pointing that out but it's simply facts.
