If anyone's being disingenuous here, it's you for bringing up third party programs. Those third party programs have little or no interaction with the games whatsoever. At the very worst, you're using shit like NTR to take a peek at the seed or your frame progression, which does nothing whatsoever to change the actual algorithms involved. Which, fine, if you're uncomfortable with using a third party program like that, fine.
But eontimer? It's literally just a timer. RNGreporter? It just calculates shit from values you put in. People who do GBA or DS RNG by fucking hand are not cheaters, that shit isn't exactly easy at times. Button input delay is a tremendous bitch since we're not machines.
I spent literally hours trying to get the timing just right to get a good shiny Eon Ticket Latias spread in Ruby, all by fucking hand. That meant hitting the same frame three different times at three different parts of the game. You gonna tell me that's cheating, just because Gamefreak didn't want it?
Gamefreak doesn't want us playing 6v6 singles competitively either, does that full team single battles cheating, too?
