A good friend of mine has a Ghost-Type Friend Safari, and god knows I have wasted many many hours running around in there like a lunatic looking for Shinies (her Safari has Lampent and Pumpkaboo)
And last night I found a Shiny Lampent after about an hour of searching! Totally thrilled. I nicknamed her "Paramour" and gave her a Sweet Heart to hold, and on Monday I will trade her to my Boyfriend for his birthday. Chandelure is his favourite Pokemon.
As if that wasn't enough, this morning I was playing for a little bit before making breakfast, and I ran into a Shiny Tyrogue as my SECOND ENCOUNTER in a different Friend Safari. Like holy crap. months and months and months of searching while finding nothing, and then 2 Sparklies in under 12 hours. Couldn't be happier.
