But good fucking god, do I hate Gen III attack animations as a whole. It's as if they didn't think they butchered Psychic as a type enough, so they had to make their attacks fucking ugly as all sin by reusing the same two shitty "special effects" consisting of the blue and red splotches and the red/purple/yellow/black wavy background. It was a shit generation solely because of that.
