>>48574467Yes. I've always found the appeal of the series to lie in "catching them all". Part of the reason I have so many hours clocked in Gen V and VI is because of trying to GTS my way into having a complete living dex. There's not much point in that anymore when I can't have a living dex without paying a monthly fee.
I don't really care if the animations suck or if the game isn't balanced, because I don't play Pokemon for those reasons. But the moment my main reason for playing is thrown out the window, I lose interest. I say this despite having my entire Top 10 in SS.
