>>21852841For the basics that works, maybe, but you're forgetting that a lot of the facilities require extra programming. Factory requires the rentals and the trade option after each battle, Palace requires the system for Pokemon fighting on their own (with expansion for all the new moves by now), Pyramid requires the special bag, Dome requires the tournament system, Arena requires the scoring system, Pike requires the room events. The tower's basically the only one that wouldn't need something new ("new" as in "hasn't been programmed for a gen 6 game yet").
Then there's all the new maps, which would require more time now than in the past since it'd take new models, plus models for the Frontier Brains (and either artwork or a battle model) and the different facility BGMs.
It wouldn't surprise me if they genuinely ran out of time after making everything else the game needed, since apparently they only had a year for the whole game.
