The difference being that Hillary was pretty anti-gay beforehand (DOMA, anybody?), while Trump has a pretty good track record when it comes to lgbt, even before it was "fashionable". Overall, the impression I get from him, given his business experience, is that he doesn't particularly care about things like race or sexuality or gender, so long as the person in question is doing good work.
In any event, as a gay man, I'd rather vote for the person that doesn't defend the religion that wants me and people like me thrown off rooftops. The native Christians are bad enough, but most of them are huge pussies that just yell a lot and wave signs in front of abortion clinics. Let Islam spend a couple centuries working out its issues, then maybe we can talk.
