I really like how comfy Kalos was, and all the hours poured into finding shinies and making teams were actually great. First games in a generation are usually weak, and XY is not exception, but the XY hypretrain and pre-bank times were a real blast. It took risks for being the first 3D handheld, and in the long run, I think those risks will payoff.
