It's paramount to understand /why/ x, y and z are incorrect, not just that they're wrong and here's how to fix them. The latter is like trying to learn Calculus without ever learning to actually think through a problem.
None of those were even critiques. The last time I gave a critique essay on here it derailed the thread as it pissed Anon off. It's blanket advice, hardly anything to be precise about.
If you want a meaningful critique, seek it in private.
