just had the idea that they like to hang out in the most brightly lit areas of the sky, and people don't stare into the sun very often.
Just the idea that they are common, but rarely seen by the human eye, but end up photobombing people cryptid style.
The flash photography was actually a bit from another entry that I liked enough to add onto the end. Which was in turn harking back to their origin as artifacts caught on camera
