>>17196993Region is Ukrava based off of Eastern Europe. It's adjacent to Kalos. Geographically, the Western parts are akin to Bavaria, Baden-Wurttemberg, Austria, and Switzerland. The East is a taiga, and the South is based off of Ukraine with emphasis on Kiev and the Black Sea.
The setting is basically the Weimar Republic.
You rival is the new kid in the town from Kalos. He moved in with his aunt and uncle. The professor is also a migrant who fled to Ukrava. He offers you both pokemon as thanks for your family taking him in.
You set out on your quest and along the way meet Team Storm, a gang of extremists trying to instigate war between Ukrava and Kalos. Your rival becomes swept up in their propaganda and becomes a part of Team Storm.
