>>22184181Deep Lore Mauville was really cool. But the Delta Episode just felt sort of juvenile to me, I don't get why people are so into it. They threw out the old crumbling floor Sky Pillar in exchange for a boring linear textdump that felt straight out of the Famous-For-Having-The-Most-Shallow-Lore Kalos region, and the rest of it was basically a backtracking sidequest that would have felt as dull as TTYD's General White's Wild Ride if not for fast-travel options basically trivializing it.
I guess I'm still feeling kind of betrayed after XY were so shit. I was so in love with Unova and I just hope Gen7 fixes things.
Also, I wish they wouldn't have hyped up the new New Mauville as a 70-floor urban spelunker's wet dream, because you get in there and it's completely trivial compared to even the RSE version, basically only exists to provide a place for Nosepass/Magneton to evolve, the stairs are fucking blocked off.
