Kind of late but.. man, what a way to start the thread! This is a great strategy lol congrats!

I quit competitive Pokémon a year ago due to work/college schedule getting tougher, but I'll return soon.

Here's something I used to use:

>Venusaur @ that item that raise the power of draining moves + original ability

>Giga Drain
>Sleep Powder
>Sludge Bomb
>Hidden Power FIRE

HP Fire was my special strategy. It was amazing when my opponent tossed Scizors in (by that time, they were the most popular OU mons) and I used it.

Also worked on Brelooms, Skarmories etc.
I also packed a Jolteon with HP Grass (Swampert!), a offensive Skarmory (high atk EVs + Brave Bird) and some stuff like that.

I mean, Blastoise's MegaEvo is ok, but Venusaur's is ridiculous. They come and make a hella badass Charizard and nothing to them?
