>>36273390>Co-opWhy not invest the time into making it an actual co-op experience? Give all the trainers 2v2 teams for when you play co-op. If they'd done this, I would have actually bought the game. And I mean that seriously, no samefagging. I would've split the price with a friend and beaten it together in an afternoon.
>Gym requirementsIt's confirmed that some will have level requirements, type requirements, all sorts of requirements. I think it's better to just allow the player to try for themselves. This encourages learning on your own instead of having the game handhold you the whole time. It also creates a situation where the player can fail, which is crucial for a game to be enjoyable. There needs to be both losing and winning conditions, if you negate one or the other too much, boredom is guaranteed.
>GO catchingA better implementation would have been a merging of both systems. Battling to weaken the pokemon so that it's movements become easier to follow in the motion control catching portion. Imagine status effects, instead of the stupid razz berries.
>The levelsI never really payed attention to that. Skipping.
>RivalTrace really does look boring. Friend characters can be good if they're well written. Wally and Barry are probably the only real examples of this, most others just have a very lame progression and you don't get the same drive to defeat them.
>IV'sCP is a very braindead fashion of tracking stats. It's intended for a mobile game, and that says everything. Why would I want to play a mobile game on console? Why would I want to play a mobile game at all?
>Hold ItemsProof?
>Terrible VarietyMega's really shouldn't count. Personally I'm annoyed because I wouldn't be able to use Crobat, same issue as FRLG, a game released over a decade ago. GF still isn't learning from past mistakes. Very disappointing.
At the end of the day, I'm just waiting for 2019 anyway.
