>>39317623>Do you think you as an individual would end up as insane as the Ninetales in red rescue?Yes and maybe even worse. I'm human with a lifespan of only 100 years, I'm not even sure I'd make it to the 500 year mark with sanity intact. Add that I'd have a hell of a lot of power and would be getting more powerful the I got. Lord Acton's cautionary quote comes to mind.
>Pokemon living very long lifespans and not being truly adversely affected by itYes but again I'm not a pokemon, not even the one I'd turn into unless my consciousness is altered in the transformation.
>Although I do wonder what you'd make your purpose in lifeAnother reason I wouldn't want to go the full 1000 years, for the first few hundred I'd probably find lots to give me purpose but after that watching people and pokemon live their lives and their their children and childrens lives, buildings get built and fall, I'd probably become listless. I might keep track of the decendants of those I care about but quickly becomes impossible as they'd number so many I'd never be able to watch them all. So I don't know, hopefully I wouldn't end up like Dracula in the Castlevania series, emense power but seeing no point in anything but not wanting to die.
>I can't think of any other Ninetales anywhere near as powerful in terms of psychic abilitiesMy head-canon is that it is a fluke, both Lokoko and the Ninetails of the legend lost somebody most dear to them, I'm guessing that is the key to living long life which is why there are emensely powerful mutli-century old Ninetails all over the place. I'm just just hoping I wouldn't have to lose somebody dear, my first century I do want to travel with a trainer.... it would sour that experience if he or she would have to die so my pokeadventure could continue.
