I've finally finished the God of Arena romhack of Pokemon Crystal. Here's my feedback in case the developer still visits these threads:
1. It would be nice to have different battle themes instead of default Johto trainer one.
2. Since the whole hack is basically a re-imagining of the Battle Tower, why not add some kind of reward? I feel like a kid who just found out there is no Mew under the truck.
All in all, this is a great example of a small hack that relies on a simple idea and introduces bare minimum of new mechanics, yet is more sufficient and entertaining than all these ambitious hacks that promise a brand new map with hundreds of fakemon and never get finished. I started it some time around the Spaceworld leaks and only finished it just now.
