But when it does it still has all of this empty space exposed? Spiky shield itslef look absolutely autistic from a design standpoint. Also it's arms and legs are disproportionate to its body, and the color scheme is atrocious. (Although the shiny does fix this problem). That being said I think all the Kalos starters final evolution s are quite unappealing. delphox's ear hair is repulsive and the tounge scarf on Greninja is off-putting as well.
