There was a double page spread of this new monsters game that was coming out soon, with little pictures of the first 30 or so. I didn't think all that much of it at first, but this little guy stuck in my mind. 24 years later he's still my favourite.
Thing was, I got Red and then Silver so I always struggled to actually catch one.
