You don't have to completely dismiss the claim, but you should be highly cautious of it. I said it before, but going blindly with need you want to be true is more harmful in the long run; your enemies are looking for ammunition to discredit you with, and falling for disinformation just gives them more to work with.
This $60 game has a lot of issues. We want those issues resolved. We won't get those issues resolved if we fall for made up issues that detract from the actual shortcomings of the game, and we certainly won't convince people of the importance of those issues if they see us spreading disinfo just to make the game look bad.
