>>57210188Every 3DS model has a native resolution mode but it shrinks the screen. Regardless of display size all 3DS models blur the screen when playing DS games in standard mode. The N3DS is less blurry because of the smaller screen in standard mode and the N3DS XL has the same size screen as the standard DS when playing in native mode. Both are compromises, with a DSi XL you get both, a large screen and native resolution. Even if you luck out and get a rare N3DS with an IPS you still wont get the full size screen. Every single DSi XL has the higher quality IPS screen, no lottery necessary. I'm not debating or stating an opinion, I'm stating facts for those looking for the best experience. You can play DS games on your 3DS all you want, it's an option for those who only want one system. It will not be the best quality option however.
