Your character carries an innocent mindset, not necessarily dragged into a corrupt, villainous underworld like other hacks, but presented with internal struggles manifesting through antagonist groups putting the natural, peaceful world you know at stake. It’s one of those “the real enemy was inside of you” type stories. Maybe the evil group is a corrupt government using human experimentation to advance our species, while also giving themselves monopolistic control. Outsiders are already living in a Solarpunk, standard Pokémon game utopia, this force wants to completely change that from the inside. Again, we aren’t going around ripping Pokémon in half or yelling slurs. It’s a story of innocence being broken, hard choices being made and the acceptance of moving forward with our lives.
