Porygon2 (and the whole Porygon line in general) appeals to me due to the whole idea of the progression of human technology and the fact that it's a being made out of computer code (how does that even work?). It has an interesting assortment of gimmicky moves and strategies such as Trick Room and Z-Conversion, as well as a very good special movepool. The whole thing behind space exploration is pretty cool, as well.
As for Flareon... I can't really pinpoint it as easily. It's like me and two other people on vp are the only people who appreciates Flareon's design, and as time passed it really grew on me, despite it's nonexistent competitive viability and all the negative attention it gets. I just think it's really cute.
It's really not easy to put in words why I like my favorite Pokemon, which I guess goes for many others on here. Like
