>>24631684All the doomsaying in this thread and votes in the poll are annoying me. I stopped playing pokemon after gen 3 because I didnt want to invest in a DS back then. So I missed gen 4, 5, 5.5, and a year of gen 6 until I got a 3DS in 2014. Played pokemon Y, and I still believe it is the most fun I have had in any pokemon game.
Some things annoyed me, like constant 10 year old friends coming up to me just to chat... but the additions to the gameplay such as 3D battling, character customization, and the GTS made the game so much fucking fun. My main gripe about ORAS was the lack of character customization, but the Delta episode was fucking amazing. Way more interesting than post-E4 in R/S where you just climbed a tower and threw some ultra balls to catch a random ass dragon.
I think the future is bright, but who knows what stupid shit they could do (every company always has the potential to fuck up, such as the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise). I just don't see why people doomsay so much about how bad everything is.
