For example, Drowzee vs Riolu in my story involved the Drowzee using Psyshock to manipulate hundreds of pebbles as an attack. Noted that down. The Riolu counterattacked with a shoulder check. Noted that down.
You'll want to keep it clear and concise to the reader, which is why taking notes is a pretty good idea. Write out your combat scene outline in a bullet point form. Then, once you've finished mapping all of it out, writing the actual scene should be easy.
