Card Collectors. Lend me your assistance. My buddy has a few unopened, base set theme decks back from 1999. We are having trouble finding the valuation. I know there is a price difference between shadow/shadowless cards, but he can't seem to find out the difference from looking at the unopened decks alone.
My questions to you are:
1) Valuation of whole unopened, base set theme decks?
2) Should he open them and then preserve them, or keep them unopened?
3) If he chooses to open them and preserve them based on your advice, should they be graded by PSA?
